Soraya grew up in the C16th Tudor Townhouse in Axbridge, which is now the home of the Drugstore Gallery and it is clear that a lot of her imagery is influenced and inspired by her affinity with the historical building.

Primarily shooting in colour, her photographs, whether landscape, still life or portrait, seem to exist in a twilight world.  In the past year, she has been experimenting with computer manipulation but regularly returns to the dark room to work with more traditional photographic techniques.

Soraya is currently working on some new photographs for her double-image series.
